This section of Palestine Portal provides maps of Israel/Palestine that compliment information in other areas of the website. Some maps have extensive notes, others very little. All are best understood in combination with information found in History and Key Issues and some of these maps can be found in those sections also.

Above: This map shows the region surrounding Israel/Palestine today. Israel/Palestine is in brown and white, found south of Lebanon and to the west of Jordan. The small areas in white are the occupied Palestinian territories. The larger white area is the West Bank – see it on the right/east of Israel. The tiny area of the Gaza Strip is in the left/southwest of corner of Israel.
