Church Work in the Holy Land

Many Christian denominations are providing a powerful witness to the highest ideals of the Christian faith through their missions work with and for the people of Israel/Palestine.

As you will see when exploring this section, the relationships between church work by and for the Palestinian people defy simple categorization and are often overlapping:

The Shepherd Society is a Palestinian-founded and -led program at Bethlehem Bible College providing aid to families in need that is featured in Palestinian Programs and Groups.  It is also a project included in the missions work of The United Methodist Church.

Evangelical Lutheran work in Palestine, such as the Diyar Consortium’s many projects that are also featured among Palestinian Programs and Groups, is led by the indigenous Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. It is also an important mission partnership in this region for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

All of the churches’ efforts in the Holy Land need continual and global support, another important way to promote the well-being of the people of Israel/Palestine.
